Technician injecting polyurethane foam through a port to lift a sunken Toronto driveway slab

Concrete Repair in Toronto & the GTA: Crack Repair, Lifting, Foundation Repair, Cutting & Sealing

Repair is the part of the business we are known for. Toronto clay soil, freeze-thaw cycling and road salt do predictable damage, and most of it can be fixed for far less than a tear-out. We inject cracks, lift sunken slabs with polyurethane foam, waterproof and stitch foundations, cut clean openings for trades, build retaining walls, and seal concrete before the next winter gets at it.

Published rates across this category: $1.5 to $12 per sq ft installed. Per-unit services are priced separately on each page.

Repair & Specialty Concrete Questions We Get Asked

Should I repair or replace my concrete driveway?

Often you can repair. About half the driveways called in for replacement can be repaired at roughly 40 percent of the cost through crack repair, lifting, or resurfacing. If the slab is heaved, badly spalled, or sitting on a failed base, replacement is the better long-term choice. We assess and tell you honestly.

How much does concrete lifting cost vs replacement?

Lifting a sunken slab costs $6 to $12 per sq ft, often a fraction of full replacement. When the concrete itself is sound and only the base has settled, lifting is the smart choice. If the slab is cracked through or crumbling, replacement is better value long term.

What is the difference between mudjacking and polyurethane foam lifting?

Mudjacking pumps a cement slurry under the slab to raise it, while polyurethane foam injects a lightweight expanding foam. Foam is lighter, cures in minutes, and resists re-settling in Toronto clay soil, where heavy slurry can sink again. We recommend foam for most GTA jobs.

How long does concrete last?

Well-installed, sealed concrete lasts 25 to 40 years or more in the GTA. Freeze-thaw cycles and road salt are the main enemies; regular sealing and prompt crack repair are what stretch a slab to the top of that range.

What is your warranty on concrete repair?

Every installation, including repairs, carries our 2-year workmanship warranty. We are licensed, WSIB-insured, and carry $2M general liability, so the work is backed and covered.
